Sam Plotkin

Sam Plotkin is a 15-year-old honors student from Somers, Connecticut, with a soulful passion for singing, songwriting, and performing.

He has been a featured soloist with the Dan Kane Singers since the age of 8, and has performed in several venues including the MassMutual Center, Springfield Symphony Hall, Six Flags New England, City Stage, the Majestic Theater, Theodores, The Iron Horse, and the Big E.

Design Objectives

The objective of this website was to create an entertainment website featuring the music and a video of a young musician/performer. In the design, it was important to provide a modern and stylish design that would be both attractive to and to favorably feature a young performing artist. The use of streaming audio and streaming video through Flash, along with the visually appealing design, are the innovative features of this site.
